My response is also spoiler hidden to protect spoiler virgins. I'm not really sure how this is going to work, but if you reply, please use the spoiler tag on anything that may be the least bit spoilery. I don't need people chasing me down the street carrying torches for spoiler deflowering them. I just needed to discuss this with someone, what are they thinking?

It turns out 5.20 is all about Buffy Summers. Seems that Angel and Spike, while on a seemingly unrelated mission in Italy, learn that somebody they’ve known for 110 years is in Rome, dating the former Sunnydale slayer! It looks like Michelle Trachtenberg will appear in the episode as Dawn Summers. Buffy’s in it too, but it’s unclear whether she’ll be played by Sarah Michelle Gellar, or a fleetingly glimpsed stunt double, or both. The vamps get a little staff support from Wolfram’s office in Italy. Source: Ain't It Cool News

I really hope Buffy doesn't know that the Vampire she is dating is a Vampire, yet what does that say about her intuitiveness? You got to invite him in everywhere, he's cold to the touch, gets frisky on the neck, only drinks thick red beverages, hides from mirrors, has an extraordinary aversion to crosses and all things God related, kinda pasty and not a good beach buddy, has serious stakeaphobia, all very good signs he's not human. And if she does know, first of all did she not learn anything from Spike? Secondly, Again, what the hell is she thinking, unless this is another chip neutered soul infested Vampire, she's really in need of some deep psychological help.

Poor Buffy. Chosen to rid humanity of the vampire threat and she can't get enough of 'em. I really hope Sarah steps up for this. Come on, the fans of this franchise made her who she is today. I think she can give a little back to the community and give Scooby a rest for a while. And Freddy. But that'd be great if she showed up. Does the episode sound like it's taken light-heartedly or seriously. Nevermind, I'll go there myself. I've got it under "My Favorites" on my PC.

I completly agree with you that Sarah should return and that the fans did make her who she is. Despite David's recent interview, he still went back to do Buffy's show for the fans, and Sarah should take a lesson from him. I hope she also returns this season, especially if it really is the final season.

OK, so I just read that the guy is Immortal, not necessarily a Vampire, so I guess she could maybe not know without it being too odd. But it was more fun thinking the guy was a Vampire even though I didn't want him to be. Also looks like Andrew will be back for this episode, I never liked him on Buffy, but loved him in 'Damage'.

I am in total Angel withdrawl over this showing Smallville in its place. Why, why, why do they do this? And they wonder why it is that Angel gets fewer viewers than Smallville. They have done this to this Angel every year, taking it off for 6 weeks to show either some new show, remember when they showed 'Birds of Prey' in its time slot for a while? I just hate that the WB is mishandling this show in much the same way FOX mishandled Firefly, anyone sensing a pattern here? If it didn't make me sound crazy I would suggest it was a conspiracy against Joss, oops just did, guess I am crazy.
