BBC poll could generate good PR for Serenity.

Folks,
BBC covered the results of a poll done by SFX the previous month; and they started this poll:

The poll on SFX poll yielded a win for serentiy:

And generated huge sales of Firefly and Serenity DVD's

SFX is a major SF periodical in the UK, available for sale on most newsstands. BBC... is distributed world wide; if Serenity wins here, it is possible it would yield some major PR.
Unfortunately, we have no real way of telling when the poll will close; so I'm advocating that we push until we get ahead in this poll, then hang on for as long as we can!
My most recent analysis suggests they "accept" one vote a day from folks; unfortunately they don't tell you if you are voting "too soon", they just don't count the vote. Personally, I vote when I vote for "TV_vote" (see here: http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=2&t=28464 ) and just vote on BBC at the same time; I figure I'm getting my daily vote in one way or the other. But if you want to track your voting and just do it once a day, go for it... but make sure it's seperated by a full 24 hours.

Beating SW on SFX - great stuff, but its not going to change our world. Beating SW on the BBC however, makes a statement. This might be the time & the place to make that statement.

Well, one heck of a BBC voting day. Still no clue what triggered the high vote count; but we've done a great job of keeping gaining on Star Wars thru this. We gained 61 on SW today, which is no mean task! Well done!
