Just got finished watching all of Firefly and then followed it up with Serenity, and Mal's speach at the end to River had me crying like a gorram babie AGAIN!!! (seriously, each and ever time I see this movie I cry, and I've seen it 8 times in theatres, and multipul times at home)

Love... keeps her in the air when she ought fall down, lets you know she's hurt 'for she keens... Makes her a home

No matter how many times I've watched "Serenity" (the Pilot), certain scenes never fail to reduce me to helpless sobs

When Kaylee says, "Everybody's so mad..."

When River first speaks. "Simon...?" Then the panic creeps in, "Simon... They talk to me, they want me to... to talk..."

When Simon tells everyone what a gift River is, and we see her terror at the sight of the Infirmary...

But most of all...

awww *sniffles* yeah... thinking about Firefly really makes me wonder what was in the F*x execs heads when they cancelled this show, I mean, did ANY of them ever even SEE it?!?

Woo Hoo for that!!! I love helping people feel "in the 'verse" as it were Watch the 2nd disc for me!!! I can't belive I did this, but I somehow managed to FORGET to bring the boxed set back home with me this weekend, and I ALWAYS bring it!!! (back from college on the weekends, my parents need help around the house for my sisters senior prom after party) Its gorram RAINING cats 'n dogs and I FORGOT firefly...

Me too! So many places in the series are so well written and speak to me on such a level that tears are inevitable.

I just can't seem to keep myself from shedding tears at times.
