I have a magic 8 ball in my class. We refer to it as the Oracle. In order to get a hall pass or similar things the student must" ask the oracle" It's a special version of the magic 8 ball though as it's the Lemony Snicket version so it says things like

Future Glum
Unfortunately yes( this is the only yes answer)

I'm okay, thanks for askin'.
Things are not normalizing, but I'm surprisingly comfortable with that. I find out today whether or not the apartment management will let me out of my lease. Whatever their decision, I think I'm probably going to get out of my friend's place (don't want his management getting grumpy about a longish-term guest who's not on the lease) and set myself up in a nice hotel suite somewhere. Insurance is cool with that. ^^ I'll be a total rock-star then.
