Oh are you channeling my students now? I remember last year when I decided to have them read The Hobbit. I had not realized how fraught with peril that would be...
To quote from an elf song " the faggots are burning"

and it continues on for some time.

ok and I'm off to tutor now. I shall see you all tomorrow:)

I *heart* PC Gaming. Unfortunately, a dial-up connection limits what games I can play online. Things like WoW don't run too badly (except for when I tried MTing MC, and I don't last 2 sec in BWL without being booted back to sign-in), it's just the major patches that cause havoc for me.

I'm thinking of getting back into MMOs and looking at what's out there (either current or in the works). Guild Wars 2 sounds appealing, due to the lack of monthly fees, and that they're working on a means to transfer some (not necessarily all) gear earnt in GW1 and expansions over to GW2, despite it being set 250 years down the track. The FF MMO is something I'd like to see done well, but I have my doubts about it.

Anyway, I think I'll go back to WH40K:DC and work on conquering all enemies with the two races I've never really liked playing as: Eldar and Tau, simply so I can see all the victory speeches.

Morning Jimi. I'm awake. Sort of.

I anticipated night #1 one of Husbandless existence to be a Festival. It was not.

Tidbit was bad.
Dog was bag.
Tv was bad.
Sleep was bad.

Intravenous coffee, please. Drip wide open.

On the upside, it's my payday, too.

Payday is usually a Good Thing.

I have nothing intelligent to say at the moment, except for the fact that I may resume playing WoW, but only on a very casual basis. So for those here who do play, what servers are you on (please specify pvp/pve/etc) and if you're horde or alliance, as I may come and hang with you, seeing as how my old guild changed servers (that and they're a bit to hardcore for my tastes these days).

Sorry to hear that. I'm envious of your rich, dark caffeine goodness. Hopefully your day will be better. (Perhaps you've paid in advance for a decadent time.)
