I think the image you're referring to is what's up on snopes. Write to them if you think they're inaccurate. If you can get ahold of that chief of yours and ask him to measure the one he has (WHY?) you could send them those stats. I'm sure they don't want to have inaccurate info up there.

Well, I guess I'm the dumbass of the day, then.

I know! We are newlyweds (sort of--does three years count?) and I'm a college student, so we have no money. Hopefully by the time another con roles around we'll be able to make it, but not this time. Just take lots of pictures and post them in post-D*C pic threads. And I'll post another pouty pic then, too!

Nope, nope, I'm the dumbass of the day because I didn't see that you won't be coming to DC. You're not coming to DC? Boooooo! I hope I get to meet you one of these days!!

Totally. I hope I get to meet everybody one of these days. That's one of the crummy things about living in small town midwest. Everywhere is a long way away. :pout:

Well, if I ever actually make a trip to Iowa (you are in Iowa aren't you?) for the excellent pie there, I'll try to pay you a visit.

Just to creep folks out, and in keeping with the icky bug theme, I came across one of these in a house I lived in about 12 years ago in Sparks, Nevada. The craziest bug I've ever seen, reminded me of the "cootie bug" toy they used to sell when I was a kid.

My father-in-law kicked it out the front door and it hit the side of his pickup. It made a VERY disticntive thunk upon impact, but then just got up and ambled away.

Edit: oh, and the picture is actual size.

Thank goodness you had that for a distraction. Kelkhil? A little help here?

I am ignoring this statement (and picture) because it is the obvious hallucination of a genetically altered spider bite victim.
