Real quick (yeesh, I am so behind in threads):
Whitefall - Yay!
JPStargazer - get over it, it's not you he proposed to; as someone said, she gets first dibs on the whole knowing aspect. The fact that you know now should be good enough, as sometimes people don't tell people until after the three children and divorce.
DRIVE - blame me for its cancellation; I didn't like it and don't care that it's gone (horrible, horrible HK!)
BOSTON LEGAL - just started watching it on DVD while I'm homeless, crashing at friend's place, and I am in love... uh... with it....
RIMG - your new 76th tattoo weirds me out, but it does look great!
Misc. - Hi!!
I have no apartment, but I still have a lease (contracts are neat!). Storage has most of my clothing. Someone else has all my possessions. Someone else else has all my electronics. I am now twitchy and a little meaner, if that's possible. ^^ And now I am back at work and even more stressed out than I was before. Hee.
Time to run away. Really. Come on. You know you want to.....

Go ahead, say it: "Shatner".

A lease which hopefully isn't charging away time. Or is that part of the renter's insurance. I forget.

Doesn't sound like you're spreading yourself too thin. As long as you remember who has what and stay on good terms with them.
Uh oh:

Me too. I'm sorta glad it's gone actually. Now Nathan can move on to better shows. At least that's the hope.

I wanted to like Drive, I really did. I wanted it to do well. I watched the first 20 minutes or so of the first episode, and really didn't like it. Nathan was, of course, completely awesome, but I found myself thinking "It's impressive what that man can do with a really bad script." I had to turn it off. I tried watching another random 10 minutes or so from episode #4 (they were robbing a bank?), and again just couldn't stand it. Maybe if the show had followed *just* Nathan and his crew, and not any of the other groups, it could have been ok. So yeah, blame me for the show being canceled (except that I don't have a Nielsen box, so my viewing habits don't count, anyway). In other news, my sister-in-law had her baby early Sunday morning, making me officially an aunt! My mom is all too ready for grandparenthood, but I think my Dad is still reeling. My own great grandmother (my great grandfather's younger, second wife) was visiting my parents in Texas when they got the call, and she seems pleased as punch to be a great great grandmother. When I was 18, out of the blue she informed me that she wanted to live to be a great great grandmother. I apologized for making her wait 8 years for that to happen, lol.
Other than that, my weekend was pretty uneventful. Cloud cover came in late Friday and I didn't quite finish sewing my swimsuit top, so no beach this weekend. And I'm one step closer to being keyed for Karazhan, for all you WoW fans out there.

So how is everyone else doing this Monday?

Hey HK how goes the whole insurance nightmare and the cleaning of clothes and apartment etc... HUGS I am so very sorry honey. I've been there and even knowing insurance will replace and clean, it still sucks to be living at someone else's and not have your things around you.
CK- HUGS and how are you sweety?

Hey MsG! *Hugs* I'm doing ok, all over the place really. I'm soooo excited for my brother and his wife (they had a boy, btw, 2 weeks early, 7 pounds 1 ounce, both mom and baby doing just fine), and I found out yesterday that my best friend is going to have a baby girl in August. And yet, I'm finding that I am doing much better with the idea that hubby and I won't ever have children of our own. Almost happy about it, actually, since we've started talking seriously about how we structure our lives for the next 40 or 50 years in the absence of children. But mostly I'm just really excited to meet these new little people who are being added to my extended family.
But on the downside, I've got some new health issues coming to light now, and that's getting me down. And the cloudy days are seriously getting to me (which is odd for a girl who grew up in Oregon, but hey, I wasn't vitamin D deficient back then). So I'm feeling a bit blah this morning. And coffee didn't help nearly as much I hoped it would.

Ck- I know just what you mean. If you can't have your own, the little ones who join your family are just that much more wonderful. What is the new little one's name>?
