Okay, I have a situation here. My roomate is basically my best friend outside of high school (I'm in college now and we went to school together) and he just proposed to his girlfriend. I'm not really thinking about "Is she the right girl?" type things, but more along the lines of WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME? I mean I think that something like this would merit at least a "hey, I'm going to propose tonight" type comment. I mean, he even had me bring some flowers he had in our fridge downtown so he could propose. I was directly involved basically...and I don't get the heads up? What's the deal?
Sorry, had to get that out. I'm kinda new to this whole "friends getting married" thing, so if anyone has any insight as to the etiquette involved in letting friends know about proposals, I'd be interested to hear...

Long time no post, all ye imponderables... I'm as sporadic as ever, but as I read this thread, I thought i'd post and say hi.
In Whitefall news, all the stuff is in order (or at least the important parts) and so i'll be going to UCLA in the fall. So far i'm happy with it just because of the response i get when I tell people. Whether i can survive the school itself remains to be seen.
Just thought i'd drop by... keep up the good fight.
And JP, i really cant say about your dilemna.... maybe... maybe your friend was thinking so much about the descision that he forgot to mention it to you? or he thought he had? Really have no clue.
