So, if anyone can't tell I have fallen in love with the show Heroes. The only other show that's gotten me to tune into tv and make me obsessive about the characters and story is of course Firefly. I swore after Firefly was cancelled I'd never watch Primetime again, and there was such crap on for the last 5 years it wasn't hard to follow through. But Heroes, damn Kring, has pulled me back in, and I've let him, willingly. I just can't get enough of it (and the month long haitus killed me)
So now to get to it, since Drive is unfortunately now cancelled, and StarGate will be too, we'll have our BDH's looking for a new gig, so did anyone on here ever think how cool it would be to see our BDH's, on Heroes, AS Hero's? Kring's said the second season will be about new characters, people, and hero's (how may times can I say that word?) Now maybe not next season if they already casted for it, but if Kring follows the same theme every season a new Hero will be introduced, that opens a looooot of possibilities, for powers and actors. So I put it to you (especially those people who are friends of Nathan's on Myspace) Would you want to see some of them on the show? Would you suggest it (Nathan's myspace) and would you push for them to be on?
Big question comin'.
What would their powers be? I mean real powers following the Heroes theme, not funny commentaries (although please indulge if you want)
I think I'd be my most happiest if I saw at least one of our BDH's on the show (cept maybe Simon). My two loves coming together. I'd be able to die happy. And maybe they'd be able to get rid of some of the dead weight on the show (I'm talkin' to you Sander's clan, Matt and *ugh* Candace) Although Matt's starting to get inetersting.

I'm just as addicted as you are m'love. Heroes is crack with a double dose of DAMN!! I would love our BDH's on Heroes, but more than that, I want them as far away from Fox and it's inept leadership as soon as possible.

Yes, and never was I happier when that Logo and music came up.
But I point to the question raised. Would you want to see our BDH's on Heroes AS Hero's, and what power would seem to fit for them.

I will bump this because I can't believe no one here wouldn't like to see the BDH's on a strongly run popular show. It could only do their careers good.

I'm really not sure what powers. I like how the show has managed to surprise and the powers they choose always work with the character. I wouldn't mind them surprising me.

I've been wanting to see a speedster for a while. Lots of comic potential too: make him a very nervous, timid, jittery, comic book fan, who is well aware of just what the life-expectancy of a "Flash" is (it's not a Crisis until we have a dead Speedster). Alan would have so much fun in the role (plus a few "leaf on the wind" jokes).
Super-strength hasn't really been covered (there's Jessica/Nikki, but she has the whole alternate-personality thing, and there was one unidentified strongman in the first episode, bugging Mohinder's apartment). Adam would probably be too obvious. How 'bout Sean?
As folks elsewhere have pointed out, Candy isn't an actual shape-shifter (she just casts illusions that make her seem like a skin-changer). Could be. . . Well, the whole cast, really.

Alan as a speedster, so mellow and down to earth, suddenly having this power of superspeed. I think there would be much hilarity, especially if his character was a couch potato, why do speedsters always die? Well if they follow through on the comic theme and kill someone with superspeed just NOT let it be by Sylar, I don't want to see Sylar splitting Alan's head open "Hmmmmm, fast brains..." And Sylar's powerful enough as it is, specially now that he can see the future (and paint it really badly.)
As for strength, it has been established with Nikki/Jessica, they made that quite clear. What they haven't established is which one has it. If indeed she has multiple personality disorder, or as some on TWOP and 9th Wonder's have speculated (which makes me shake my head) that Nikki has the power to absorb dead souls and the powers within, that is to say when Jessica died Nikki absorbed her soul, essense, whatever you want to call it and they now share the same body (like I said, a head shaker) But I do wonder about that guy in Mo's apt, he seemed to kick Mo across the room and damage his walls pretty easy. It is curious, what happened to that guy, and did he indeed have super strength?
God I love this show.
Imagine if Jewel had the power to shrink to atomic size. Hmmmmm....
