Holy balls! That's a rather HUGE embarrassment to the WB and all those Joss haters out there in TV land.

Yea! Angel is gonna be saved! It is!!! Ya can't have this much support and not continue. Joss... better start working on that Angel screenplay.

oh my god...that is SOOOOO sweet! hehe now i'm so proud of myself for voting:) i don't understand how the wb can cancel angel after both the improved ratings and the fan support! i mean, come on! maybe this will be the nudge we need. sigh...i don't wanna get my hopes up too high and have them seriously dashed again, but that really rocks.

Lets put this into perspective, there were approx. 400,000 votes. That means Angel ALONE got 340,000. Tru Calling and Arrested Development for example only got 8,000 each. (This is based on percentges given in the article) This is TRULY staggering. Will the WB buckle? In a way, they HAVE to. Otherwise they are startling to look REALLY stupid.

But on the upside, Rah us! At the very least we may see Buffiverse movies along with Serenity. That would be cool as well. I just wish it would be decided once and for all!

And in other good news Sky Network in the U.K. is interested in kicking in some money to keep it going. This is because Angel per percentage of the population is even bigger there than it is here. I also voted for Angel in this poll and I for one think we have a very, very good chance of another season.
