OMR - when did Inara figure it out?

At what point do you think Inara caught on that YoSaffBridge was a bad guy?
If she knew right off the bat, you'd think she would have warned Mal instead of being all pissy and jealous.
Was it when she caught YSB trying messing with the other shuddle, or was it when the alarm went off?

If Inara handn't been so thrown and jealous over Mal's "marriage", she would have figured it out quicker. As it is (was?), I think she realized something was up when Saffron tried to seduce her. "You don't play a player."

I agree, especially when that happened right on top of the attempt to enter a shuttle.

The alarm going off was just when Inara decided to stop playing along. Up to that point of that scene she was hoping to get Saffron to reveal what she was up to. Once the alarm sounded, though, there was no point in keeping up the pretence.

I always figured she was trying to get her to her shuttle where she'd drug Saffron or something. She'd probably offer her some tea with drugs in it and that would be that. Then she could inform the rest of the crew that something was up.

which of course begs the question: would saffron have realized that inara realized what was going on? i tend to think yes, but thats just the feeling i get, nothing backing it up... thoughts?

I think it was when Saffron didn't actually answer the question of why she was trying to get into the other shuttle.
