Okay to start off, you saw the warning so don't get mad at me if this is something you didn't want to know.
With in the last few months it was announced that Dr. Elizabeth Weir would be returning to Season 4, but only as a recurring character. The character's portrayor, Actress Torri Higginson has been been signed for 4 episodes out of the 20 for the season.
The fact is Dr. Weir is being replaced as expedition leader and by none other than Lt. Col. Samantha Carter(with unconfimed reports of a promotion to colonel). I'm not saying anything against the character or Amanda Tapping, she is a great person and excellent actress. This is to show support from Torri and her character. Your opinions on Weir or any other character are strictly your own.
