I've been a huge fan of Firefly ever since a friend pointed it out to me at the end of the television run. Since then, I've been dying to find some kind of way to play Firefly, not roleplay, but a videogame. I recently purchased Battlefield 2142, and noticed that it was a lot similar to Firefly in quite a few ways. I thought that because I had this idea, others probably had, and I scoured the internet looking for any type of Firefly mod for any game. I found none, although I did find lots of incredibly complicated and time consuming mods like Warhammer 40k for 2142. Now, considering that only some skins would have to be changed, and new maps created, I think that a 2142 Firefly mod could easily be created, featuring all the battles of the War. It would be amazing, full out Browncoat versus Alliance action. I personally can't do anything, as I'm no artist and the best I can code with is Visual Basic, but I thought that I might as well throw the idea out there, in case someone more talented and willing than I might read this.
