Wow! My husband and I just rented and watched this last night. It was a bit confusing in parts but very dark and scary although with the way the world is going today...quite possible as well. Hmmmmmm makes me want to read the book. Husband noticed in the scene where he goes to get the papers from his cousin(?) outside the window were two smokestacks and an inflated pig (fromthe Pink Floyd album)...

I really thought this was one of the most underrated and unappreciated films of '06 and like Chrisisall said before, it should become a classic.
But, just so you'll know - although the movie was adapted from a book by P.D. James, the two are very different. A good read though.
