Good morning folks. Sems I was to have today off but that got mussed up due to the lack of grocery shopping and a tech that needed to be regulated today. I'm off to buy our kids' food then to lunch with "She". I'm hoping to drop in before the early start to my three day weekend. If I miss the chance then I might be in for a bit Monday, (get to prep payroll on my holiday). Hope the day treats everyone great.

WAKE UP ZEEK!

Yeah, I'm actually very sleepy too. It's a beautiful day and I don't want to work, especially since this is a catholic country and everything is closed, including my favourite coffee shop so I didn't even get my morning mocha before I taught class I need that pick-me-up!

Leaving soon, but wanted to say hey. Hey

Urk, I am quite sleepy too. Hubby kept me up almost to 2am with a Karazhon run (WoW talk, hehe), and then I woke up this morning to find the sky completely overcast. We have a big window and a skylight in our bedroom, so on sunny days that helps get me up, but on cloudy days I just want to go back to sleep.

Also, I've done some reading recently on Vitamin D, and I'm finding that many of the health issues I'm struggling with are linked to Vitamin D deficiency -- specifically autoimmune diseases and unexplained joint pain. So I've been trying to spend a bit of time outside in the sunshine every day, except that it's been cloudy for the past 10 days! All the progress I've made towards feeling better with the warm weather in March is being undone! I demand sunshine now!

So yeah, feeling pretty crappy today. I *always* feel better during the summer, and I've figured out four reasons why that is:
1. Spending more time out side, so I get more Vitamin D.
2. Not cold and flu season (if I catch something that triggers my immune system, I'm in bad shape for the next 4 - 6 months).
3. Swimming is the exercise my joints seem to tolerate the best, and since I only have access to outdoor pools, I only swim during the summer.
4. My feet are *always* cold, but when it's warm out I don't notice my feet being cooler so much.

Bah. Clouds. Go. Away. NOW!

And all that? Also the reason they don't want my blood. Or they don't want it for other people, anyway. They seem to like taking mass amounts (as much as 10 tubes in one sitting once!) just so they can tell me that the tests were inconclusive. Bah.

I need coffee. With lots of sugar. Back soon.

* spreads blankets, pillows, beanbag chairs, and loads of stuffed animals all over the floor *

* sets out a large plate of chocolate chip cookies and an ice-filled bowl with cartons of milk in every variety that it is made *

Ok, everyone. Nap Time !!!!!

Ahhhhh nap time. That must be why it's so quiet in here.

Oh man, chocolate chip cookies and a nap would totally make my day.

Mmm, coffee and work instead. Sigh. To be four again.

OK we need something to imponder.

How about this one? For the single pet people out there, what if you met mr/mrs right except they were extremely allergic to your pet? Would you give up your pet?

I don't think I could do it. I'm coming up on 2 years now with my kitty and she's just the sweetest little thing. Having her energetically jumping up on the bed the second I wake up every morning is just a great way to start the day. I know waking up next to Mrs. Right would probably be pretty great too, but I just don't know if I could willingly give up my kitty.
