Has anyone seen a movie called 'Wasabi' staring Jean Reno?

Yes, I love that movie, especially the way Luc Besson blended the drama, comedy, and action all together, much in the same way Joss Whedon does.

Based on that, I'm guessing you'd recommend it? I'll go see if the local Blockbusters has it.

Blockbuster isn't a good place to do business, especially if you consider yourself a movie fan.

Film critic Roger Ebert (whether you agree with his film reviews or not) is a dedicated defender of the art of film and an excellent writer. At Ebert's Chicago Sun Times site, there has been an ongoing discussion of the damage Blockbuster is doing to the movie industry.

I have been following and compiling the discussion here: http://www.raptorial.com/Zine/b-buster.htm

Check it out and please reconsider spending your money at b-busters.
