I just about fell out of my chair laughing! For those that do not know, the creator of the comic is named Tim Buckley, and he does many many many video game reviews.
Anywho, this is concerning his review of Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars. In the clips they used real actors. They used Grace Park (Athena) and Tricia Helfer (Caprica) from BSG, Michael Ironsides from Starship Troopers (amongst other shows), Billy Dee Williams from Return of the Jedi, and Josh Holloway (Sawyer) from LOST. I really love his shoutout at the end though!

Yeah, I read that last night and cracked up. Thanks to Tim, I discovered Firefly. About when Serenity came out, I remember Tim reviewing the movie and talking about how great it was, and he mentioned Firefly in the review several times. Well, I was finally shown the movie by a friend late last year, and loved it. Surprisingly, the kid who showed me Serenity had never heard of Firefly, but thanks to Tim's review, I remembered that it was based off a TV show. One week later, I had by box set in my hand, and that's where it all began.
My main point: thanks Tim, for still spreading the love!

And you loaned your box set to the kid, one would hope!

Well of course. I practically shoved it down his throat with all the raving I did about it everyday. His roommate watched it, too, so there's two more in our ranks, plus my whole family, who wanted to keep the boxset when I went back to college.

My Dad would've gone WILD for Firefly, but all I have left for "family" is my stepmom, and trying to get her to watch s'been sorta like Roddy Piper trying to get Keith David to "Just put the glasses on!!" in They Live (but with less punching)!

She thinks it's "just another show for kids & geeks, like Star Trek."
I truly envy the rest of y'all, who can get your grandparents to watch, and then they go to work on your parents, and pretty soon everybody's gathered 'round to bask in all the Whedony goodness!
