Yep. Rumor had it months ago that they were going to wrap up BSG w/ a fourth and final season. Of course there are all sorts of rumors as to why they are pulling the plug, but who knows. I know that the ratings were lagging some this season, but I am not sure that they can wrap everything up nice and neat in just one more season.

I can see why the ratiings were lacking this season though. Out here they changed the air time from Friday to Sunday night. I kept forgetting it was on so I missed it completly when it started airing on Sunday.
Stupid Sci-Fi Channel and their "wisdom" of moving the timeslot.

Actually, I think they can. The first season was very short, but it moved at a breakneck pace. The second season was longer but very fast moving too. I felt this season that things dragged occasionally. Not much, but sometimes.
If the writers know they only have one more season then I'm happy enough to leave wrapping everything up in their more than capable hands. At least they know from the start rather than finding out halfway through the season itself, as so often befell Joss & co.

Yeah, I am in Virginia so we are stuck with it being on Sunday nights too. Kind of a pain especially since it doesn't come on until 10pm.
Still don't know what motivated them to make that change.
