If you had the power to bring back any dead character from any of Joss's shows, who would you pick?

i would for sure go with tara too- high five desktophippie! granted she was may favorite character, but to me it felt like the saddest death, too.

I would bring back Book. Wash is great, but there was no future for that character; Book had a whole past to figure out.

Ah, LiveBrown, I see. That's actually what I liked about her!
Yes, a show full of perfect, good hearted people is pretty boring, but Tara was only one character and she wasn't perfect. She was certainly "nicer" than most characters, but that was really her way of hiding, of blending into the background and not being noticed. No one had a bad word to say about her. Because no one had much of anything to say about her. At first, anyway.
It also stemmed partly from the fact that Tara represented Willow's better nature, the same way Dawn was the voice of Buffy's human side. So Tara always had to make the right choice and be the responsible good girl, because all the subtle tensions between her and Willow built up over the years to show how Willow was getting deeper and deeper into places she should never have gone.
I think Tara was a proto-Kaylee character. Like Kaylee, she believed just about everyone was a good person. It meant she couldn't see some of the terrible mistakes people were making around her - especially Willow. Knowing this, it makes my head spin to think what Joss had planned for Kaylee!
...I'm babbling like a moonbrain. Gotta learn to stop the obsessive Buffy character posting. Sorry for the threadjacking!

I stopped watching Angel for a period after Joss killed him off, couldnt understand it and the show was never the same. Feeling very sad right now...drugs sux...hate them with a passion!

Does Spike not count as a dead character. After all he was killed in Buffy and he was certainly one of Joss's best characters bar none
If he didn't then my vote would be for mrs. calender all the way
