Hey guys and gals! I've been working on a CG film based in the Firefly 'Verse for a while now. I'm currently working on the digital set of the ship interior. So, here's a couple of shots of the cargo bay. Obviously, it's not done. I still have a lot to do on it. I just wanted to post some progress and see what you guys think.

The angle of the walls I think is a bit too much, but that's how it had to be in order for the stairs and catwalk to work out right. All I have to go on are stils from the show and a couple of drawings. I wish there were an actual set of blueprints for the cargo bay, but oh well.

That actually looks really good. The best resource I've found for the ship's interior is the RPG book. Can't wait to see it finished.

Very nice. What software are you using?
And I agree with you- wish there were a set of blueprints out there somewhere.

( For any Fox, Mutant Enemy , Universal folks out there, if ya put 'em up for sale as collectibles, we'd pay for 'em.)

Yeah, I would definatly like to have a full set of Serenity blueprints. It can't possibly be THAT hard to get them. It would be nice if Fox or Universal or whoever made them available.

Anyway, here's a couple more shots with some progress. I worked all day on those rails and steps. Still not done with them, and it looks like I did nothing! LOL!

There is going to be a set of blueprints sold by QMX. The same licensee that has released the Serenity money. I believe they're due in April.

Very cool Sean! I'm impressed! I think you already sent me your reference pics. LOL! This is Jason. You mailed me a disk with some stuff on it. That stuff is coming in VERY helpful too! I've paused on the model I'm doing until my Serenity blueprints from QMX come in. I ordered my set yesterday! So excited!!!
