It's funny you mention that. About 6 months after I watched Firefly they had a run on SciFi one morning and I caught a few episdoes. That morning they showed Bushwacked and I don't ever remember seeing it. I was thinking that I must have accidentally skipped it when I watched the DVDs. I don't remember thinking it was bad though. Actually, I found it quite enjoyable, but that may have been because I thought for a moment that they were making new episodes of my favorite show again and I was excited. Come to think of it, now that I have seen Bushwacked (twice?), I can't really remember anything much about it now either. So I guess you're right.... If the BDM doesn't count as least favorite episode, I'm going with Bushwacked because I think I saw it twice and I can't remember anything about it.

I think what makes Bushwhacked difficult is that it's job is to set up, rather than tell a story of its own.
It sets up additional Reaver information, the crew's individual attitude toward Alliance authority, Mal's highly pragmatic and somewhat manipulative leadership style, the Mal/Reaver parallel, River's psychic abilities... Lots of information that we need in later episodes.
It's an important eppy, and I enjoy its atmosphere immensely, but I understand what people mean when they say it's not memorable in its own right.

Least favourite FireFly Episode.....
that's easy....Bushwacked & Trash are both equally my least faves.
Yes, I know that in Trash at least we get to see Fillions tattoo, but I kinda wonder if that was thrown in to liven up an otherwise dull storyline..? (yeah I know, I'll probably get my head bitten off for that, but that's what I think) 'gulp'
Or maybe it's because seeing the YoSafBrig character again irritates me.

Easy jack, I'm sure he was just running low on 02 and got lightheaded when he made his post. I have not seen all the episodes yet I'm waiting for the last 2 disc's now from netflix. but my favorite so far is "our Mrs Reynolds" so if Safron is back it gotta be An interesting reunion

Id say bushwacked, the end annoys me, like the alliance would just let them go....still a great 45 minutes of TV but not as good as the rest.
As for the comments on HoG, Can i make it clear.
