No its not started yet, tho it has if you count the Christmas Day Special as the 1st episode of the series

I've just checked the Doctor Who website their only saying spring at the moment and that they wont know until about 2 weeks before it goes out. I think last year it started late March/early April over here so it will be starting soon.

Personally I cant wait for the new series of Torchwood to start up. Although I dont know if thats aired in the US or anywhere else yet.

episode 1 is broadcast on bbc1 sataday 24th of march with the episode smith and jones

(smith is a reference to the doctor who has used the alias previously while Jones is the surname of the new companion (not in that sense of the word) a trainee doctor)

The start date for Doctor Who was pushed back to 31 March because of a football (soccer) match the BBC decided to televise on the 24th.

I do agree this is shaping up to be a great season! Absolutely LOVED "The Shakespeare Code"! I can't wait for "Daleks in Manhatten"...even though I also feel the Daleks have been over-used since the series came back in 2005. Plenty of other alien races to explore besides re-inventing the Daleks (again).

I felt the first episode suffered a bit from firstepisodeitis. The second was loads of fun, and playing "spot the reference" was a fun way to spend the episode.

The third episode was the best so far, and one of the best episodes of the last three seasons. I really enjoyed it. Yes, I know there were plot holes. I don't care. It was fun and enjoyable and packed an emotional punch. Who could ask for more?

My only complaint is that they seem to be setting up a Martha/Doc relationship and I don't buy it. I don't see any chemistry between them. I think she makes a great assistant and I like the character, but I don't get the same tension I got between the Doc and Rose. Maybe it's just too soon for me after that relationship? I'll see how it developes over the coming weeks.

Did anyone else flash back to the Ariel scenes in Serenity when they showed what had happened to the city? I want to know if that was just me. *has Serenity on the brain*

I reckon the whole point of the last episode was to hear the 'Face of Bo' tell his secret, is any one else thinking what I'm thinking about that little revelation?! (answers on a post card!)
