.Route 666, Nightmare, Benders and Shadow were all excellent! Especially Benders, where they had to fight HUMAN monsters!!!! I love the way Sam's 'power' is progressing! And seeing their dad is freakin' me out!

Something Wicked was okay, and Provenance too. Even though these three eps are better than most TV, I'd say they might be among the weaker episodes for the series. Still, good show!

I felt the same way the first time I watched Something Wicked but my opinion changed after my second viewing. Seeing Dean resolve a deep seated childhood issue was quite poignant. His line at the end about how he wished Sam didn't know about the evil things in world puts an exclamation point on how protective he really is. I also liked the idea of a doctor being the thing in the dark.
I liked Provenance for the simple fact that a little girl is the serial killer. Don't remember seeing that angle before.
You're coming to the grand finale. The last three episodes are incredible. Make sure you post some reviews as soon as you're finished.

How did you like seeing Julie Benz as quiet, sympathetic, and full of faith? Quite a departure from her days as Darla.
That line Dean has about "that fabric softener bear" when he is in the hospital bed is one of the funniest things I've ever heard. Must have something to do with my hatred of Snuggle and the Pillsbury doughboy.

I give the overall season story 3 *'s due to non-closure, a sense that I saw only part of a story here.

There's the resolution to the cliffhanger, a huge pile of character development that happens as a result, more clues as to the "big picture." . .
I forget, was the Roadhouse introduced in S1 or S2? Either way, there's a few new characters and plots introduced on that front.
