Puppet Angel !!! ROTFLLLG !!! -> Rolling On The Floor Laughing Like a Little Girl

THIS is the reason Joss and his crew are the best thing on TV in years. Decades! I haven't seen a genre drama go this wild since Tribbles showed up on the Enterprise 40 years ago.

And I love the soft (felt?) allegory of people being puppets of thier emotions and the plot mirroring the real point brought so into focus by Fred kissing Wes. About frellin' time!

Worse, I felt for Angel and Wes. There was a girl who liked me last year and I dissed her rather the same way Angel ignored (what's her name?) signals earlier in the show. Wish I'd gotten over it myself! Anyho', having sorta lived through this (except for turning into a Jim Henson creation... HAHAHA... still funny!) I can testify Angel has once again proven it's the best written show on TV.

Yes! ^-^ One of my fav episodes of Angel.
*___* Angel puppetsized. It would have been funnier if it happened to the cast.

Best fight ever-Spike/Angel puppet

The puppet as Angel was so perfect...the expressions, movement, scowls all of it ...some of THE MOST entertaining TV in years

I honestly thought that this episode would be too silly for the brooding Angel fans. Figured everyone would hate it. (It so utterly utterly stepping away from Angel´s macho image and all.) Glad I´m not the only one who nearly busted something, laughing so hard.

I just loved the puppet´s hair and eyebrows. SOOOOO right on. This episode quickly became a favorite together with last season´s "Spin the bottle". (Fun to see a "Tabula rasa" episode on Angel btw.)

Right! It's a classic scenario. Establish a strong character with particular attibutes. Then thrust this character into a situation which goes completely against it's true nature.

Buffy becoming a wimpy noble lady on Haloween, Spock laughing on the pollinated planet, making Jayne a folk hero... ;-)

Wow, this thread was dead for a while I thought maybe I spoilered the title. I don't ge to see Angel until it's played on the crappy SPACE channel (in it's crappy time slot) here in Canuck land.

Please... someone help me. I want an exact quote of what the evil puppet dog said about his 'new song' about metaphor and symbolism. It's something I encourage printing onto a t-shirt and sending to Joss and his crew with a note that says 'we get it... and thanks!'.
