Well this John Connor had better watch out, imagine having your own Summer Glau Fembot, yeah baby yeah!!!! Certainly better than a walking tree trunk called Arnold.

I don't understand this show. The title character is going to fail ... pitifully. Skynet will go online. Much of the human race will be killed off in a nuclear apocalypse. How much fun can a show be if your main character fails at her only goal and then dies of leukemia?

So how can a show whose plot is, "The main character, Sarah, is going to try and fail to do something, then she is going to die of a hematological malignancy," survive?

Seems like someone needs a lesson on temporal mechanics...

Imagine this is a timeline:

A-B-C

You see, if you want to stop event event C, B must be changed. IE terminator I

A-Bb-

Bb represents a change resulting from changing previous events.

A-Bb-Cc

Cc represents an alternate future.

The events of T3 can be altered by changing the past...so the events of this show are not written in stone. An alternate timeline can result from just a minor change in the event Bb. This has occured three times so far...this show will document at the very least a fourth.

This concludes day I of Temporal Mechanics, next week we'll cover chickens eggs and trees that no one hears.

On a serious note I'm really looking forward to this show.

Some ones been watching too much Stargate. To put your temporal mechanics in easy terms, there is a alternate universe for every decision made, therefore all possiblities are possible. Take for example the alternate ending of T2, my god that was bad! An old Sarah Connor surrounded by grand kids. Thank god Cameron didn't go with that ending or Summer wouldn't have this job, or should I say it would have been 'TERMINATED'.

Thats right, I watched too much Sliders.

Well if you use jubalisearly's theory that even things which appear in the "present" of the movies are subject to change that would not have prevented Summer from getting the job.

As much as I like seein them in my day to day life, why must it be back at frakkin FOX?! Oh well, at least it might be a somewhat entertaining show, before it gets canceled after 6 or so episodes. Actually, I think they're just doin this thing for FOX cause they know they won't be there long and their just waiting to hear the voice of the Almighty (I refer to Joss here) telling them to take up their Browncoats and follow him. Just a hypothesis. Ah, how I wait for that day.

Keep flyin'.

Frakkin' Right!
Bring back FIREFLY!
Bring back STARBUCK!
SO SAY WE ALL!

Summer's gonna be a Terminator.

She's gonna beam into our world from the future.

You know what that means? She's going to start another TV series completely naked.

This is almost becoming a pattern for her. First thing she does, coming on screen, is appear with no clothes on.

I'm not complaining. Very not complaining.

.

Twelve spheres of unendurable brightness spalled the velvety blackness of space.
The silence on Lester Tourville's flag bridge was absolute
And then the spell was broken as Shannon Foraker looked up from her console from where she had just sent a seemingly innocent command to the main computers of State Security's finest Superdreadnoughts.
"Oops." She said.

She looks so sweet and innocent she would make a wonderful villain.

i think some people who are worried about summers participation in the terminator series getting in the way of a relaunch of firefly are forgetting that she kinda needs to keep working shes hardly an established actor so therefore needs to get as much air time as possible the firefly cast cant wait around for the ressurection of the series it wouldnt be fair to them

Asriel(u aint getting my real name until you buy me a drink!)
