I saw this early this morning, but couldn't respond since I was studying for a quantum test later in the day.
This is AMAZING news. I've been checking fireflyfans.net on a daily basis since around the time the dvd was released, and damn near almost on an hourly basis since "Serenity" appeared on Universal's Coming Soon section.
With that said, no one can possibly imagine how quickly I went from being groggy and pissed off for having to get up so early to study to wide awake and absolutely elated when I checked fireflyfans one more time before I went to campus! (=

Soon there'll be the joy of an official website, and random unconfirmable rumours as to plot content and griping from some quarters that it's not gonna have the same feel as the show and cast interviews that are frustratingly cryptic.....I can't wait!
And if it does get released in late 2005, it'll be right around my birthday time --- sweet.

I, Robot is coming out this year, so principle shooting is already done on it, leaving Alan Rudyk with time to be in Serenity.
