Alright! This is the best ruttin' news I have had in a long time! This is so shiny!
I can hardly wait for an update or some pics and news at the Universal/Serenity site.
You know, kind of off topic, I had predicted over at the OB that an official announcement would be made by March 5th. Wasn't too far off.

Yup, Maniac, I've got some Paddy's. A dwindling supply, alas. Quick, amusing anecdote: Last year, went to Ireland (FINALLY!). While at JFK (airport), I saw a sale at the Duty-Free, where Paddy's could be got for less than it could reputedly be obtained in Ireland itself (turned out to be so). So I bought two bottles, carted them to Ireland..then brought them back. So, not only yummy, but extremely well-travelled!!
But still, it was a worthy cause (!!!!!), and toasts were tendered for Serenity, for ME, and for all Browncoats everywhere! 3/3/04 is a day to commemorate!!

I have to say that is some pretty good news. Some pretty stupendously amazing news in that kind of ohmygawd sort of wow-ish type hooray-for-the-browncoats type way.
Looking forward to seeing the movie (and I wouldn't mind if I could find my way INTO the movie as well). I justr hope that Alan and Ron are on the cast list. Just can't imagine the movie without the inevitable betryal of dinosaurs, or the always hilarious special hell.
