Hey All
To anyone whose fluent in how iTunes and iPods work, I need your help with something.
On Sunday, I ended up wiping the hard drive on my computer and lost everything. I've spent the last few days basically rebuilding my computer. Right now, I'm in the process of re-structuring my iPod.
Pre-wipe, I had everything on my iPod. After the wipe, while all my tracks are on my iPod, all the songs were wiped from hard drive. I bought some new tunes today, and I ended up re-transferring my "previous purchases" back onto my computer. There are 500 plus tracks on there now. But I still have about 1200 tracks that I still need to transfer from my iPod that I got from CD burns and illegal downloads from over the years.
How do I do that without wiping everything on my iPod? I've been re-downloading and digging through my e-mail archive and installing new programs for the last two days. The last thing I need is to re-buy 1200 tracks I already have. Also, for some reason I can't transfer the newly bought stuff onto my iPod now.
If anyone can help me in regards to that, I will forever be in your debt.

I will ask #1 when he gets home from work. I think he knows how to do that.
