Do you know if these two ('Drive' & 'Waitress') are planned to be shown on TV/cinema screens here in Oz??

Obviously, I am not all-knowing--although I am anonymous one. Because I don't know the answer to this question either.

Hopefully, Drive and Waitress and White Noise the Light make it to Aussieland.

You'll probably be able to find Waitress somewhere in your local capital city.

Drive's chances are low though. Unless it becomes one of those Lost, Desperate Housewives or Heroes hits over in the states we probably wont get it.

Or if we do get it it will be given the Sci-Fi timeslot 11:30pm or afterwards.

Sequels to the movies seems to be a popular idea, but i don't think that firefly works as a movie as much as it does as a TV series.

My fantasy is that the TV sereis starts again where Objects in space leavs off, as if Serenity had never occured. I refuse to discuss the awful events that happened in that movie.

i agree with you lsmbtoes a series would be better than a movie sequel for one fact above all else where in a film the the story has to progress rapidly so that even if it meant to have a sequel it still neeed's to feel rounded off but a series can go much deeper into a storyline and develop over a longer period of time giving a greater sense of completion to a perticular storyline but still leaves you wanting more
