"Never say never again" although a James Bond movie and starring the BEST James Bond EVER Sean Connery doesn't necessarily count. It is NOT one of the original Broccoli films. NSNA was independently produced by Sean Connery and "Thunderball" director Kevin McClory who I believe owned the film rights. NSNA is more or less a remake.

Sean connery is james bond, therefore never say never again is a bond film, i dont care what vegetable you bring up.... the broccoli's have ruined the bond flix as of late and have spoiled all of pierce brosnan's bond flix with there BS Scripts. They look to be getting back on track with the latest flick though.

I dont think they took advantage of Mr. Brosnans talents enough, I would say they were average at best made only that way by Mr. Brosnans talent.

I'll have to agree with Chris on this one, Die Another Day sucks and TWINE and TND weren't perfect, but they were still pretty good movies...IMO at least.

And I'll agree with Monksdad that it was Mr. Brosnan that help make them so.

Actually, there were moments in both flicks that were great, I mean, really great.

I'll see it when The DVD comes out, but I'll admit upfront to being heavily prejudiced against it the way I was with The Living Daylights; Craig is a fine actor I'm sure, but he doesn't look like the Bond in my head from the novels, which is actually somewhere between Connery and Brosnan. Lazenby was very close, but I didn't like his thespian skills all that much. Dalton had the character down, but again, he didn't quite look the part for me.

I agree Sean Connery is James Bond. I believe I did call him the best James Bond ever, and calling him that is NOT an insult to the psychotic lowlife community.

1: Goldfinger - Just so many classic bits.
2: The Spy Who Loved Me - Coz it was the one that introduced me to Bond.
3: Casino Royale - as stated a, top film in it's own right.
4: You Only Live Twice - The volcano set and cute Japanese girls.
5: Tomorrow Never Dies - Brosnans best in a great run.

Connery will always be Bond, however good his followers are. Brosnan would be second. Can't count Craig yet as he's only done one movie but I thought he definitely injected something new into the performance that was needed, even if he didn't look like a 'typical' Bond. Moore was good but the humour didn't always suit the moment.
