For those interested, Aint It Cool just spilled the beans on who Summer is playing in the series.

Select to view spoiler:

She is the new Terminator on the series.

And they're shooting just a couple hours from me...

I'm thinkin' road trip.

I've been sceptical of this since I heard about it, but seeing recent sci-fi shows has turned me slightly, I think it might turn out pretty good, though I have to wonder what it'll be about. I would have thought it would focus on the war though (if it weren't for the title) they must have got them time buggers popping out everywhere. I'll likely check it out when they start showing it.

Summer being in this explains why she didn't come to Maryland for the Farpoint Convention this coming weekend. It'll be pretty sweet to see her in this show, so it was worth it.

Anybody else get a giggle when they saw that Summer's character was named 'Cameron'?

Uh...does this mean that Summer will be a TX-series Terminator like Kristanna Loken's baddie in T3? Cuz canonically, you basically have the T-101s (the serpentine, tank-treaded 'bots from T3), ArnieBots (T-800s), the Doggone Doggetts (the T-1000s) and the Nordic Supermodels (the TXs)...

Still...Summer could be a completely new model. I know the non-canon T2 series of books by sci-fi author S.M. Stirling introduced Infilitrator-type Terminators that were more like the current versions of human-form Cylons than the T-800, T-1000 and TX series walking tank models

Can't be the TX, look at the title, its oozing of having Sarah Conner alive, her character was dead by T3.

Ah...you are correct, killerbanana, about Sarah Connor being dead by the first time we officially see a TX-series Terminator in T3. But we have no idea how long SkyNet had been operating TXs by the time the one was sent back to kill John Connor, Kate Brewster and the other leaders of the Resistance in T3.

Besides, who says SkyNet didn't try again with it's most advanced model of Terminator after Kristanna Loken's TX?

Well, technically, the TX wouldn't even be near production within Sarah Connrs lifetime, but since its time travel anyway, its not impossible for them to send a TX back to pwn Sarah.
