(Oahu) Hawaii Browncoats?

I'm moving to the island of Oahu, Hawaii, at the beginning of March and was wondering if there's any local active Browncoat groups? I'm hopeing there will be a screening there this year because I loved the one I attended last year, but I haven't heard any news :)

Can't say I know any Browncoats over that way, but as long as you're going to be in Hawaii, could you try convincing my brother of the genius that is Firefly? Having no luck so far.

There isn't a yahoo group listed for Hawaii on

The Seattle and California groups are really active, you might try asking them if they know any Hawaii Browncoats too.
If you start a yahoo group, be sure to ask to be added to the www.bigdamnboard.com

There is someone in Hawaii trying to find a way to organize a screening, FWIW. No idea where in the process they are right now.

Psst, B!X, I think the person wanting to organize a screening is the person who started this thread. The name matches the address in the Organzier forum.
So I think where they are in the process right now is trying to find some Hawaii Browncoats.

One person last year and another person this year tried to have a Serenity Charity Screening in Hawaii. Don't know the status of the June 2007 Screening. Might need some help to make it happen.
