The title pretty much says it all. Check your local WB affiliate - they're taking fan votes for the 5 favorite Smallvile episodes, which will run IN PLACE of Angel on Wednesdays.

I'm not really surprised at the WB - they've done the same thing before. They did it last year, but last season sucked and it was a relief to know I didn't have to watch the stupid Connor storyline for a while, and that when they came back I'd be able to see Gina Torres. But this season has completely redeemed itself, which makes it all the more frustrating!

It also just occurred to me that another thread mentioned that Adam Baldwin is supposed to guest-star on the March 10 episode, which we can now assume we probably won't see until April or May.

February sweeps are coming to an end so both Smallville and Angel are going to be on haitus until Wednesday, April 14 (for the L.A. WB affiliate). Oh, but the last eps of the current sweeps are next week's eps. This kind of thing has been going on for a long time in TV (in the U.S.). You see it mostly as a set up like:

Sep/Oct to Dec: season premier + new eps
Dec to Jan: haitus
Jan to Mar: new eps
Mar to Apr: haitus
Apr to May: new eps + season finale

Angel is getting kicked off the air for five weeks just so they can go run Smallville re-runs?!

Thats it! WB is going to DIE!!!

Right when it was really getting good with this Illyria (sp?) storyline!!!

WB and FOX will forever be know to me as the stupid networks!
