'Warning, this post may contain British humour, which differs from humor. This may confuse Americans. You should do nothing to remedy this.'

Humour (from Wikipedia (so you know it's true): humours were special fluids associated with the four basic elements of nature, that were thought to permeate the body and influence its health.
I can see how we could get confused. Doesn't sound at all like our humor...

"Well, here I am...Does that seem right to you?"

LOL at humour! *ruffles Odds's hair* Funny that I'm descended from Scots and Brits and Irish and all those... yet am 100% American! (but I think you're pretty funny, so give me some credit
)Hey, speaking of sexy Browncoat men, when do I get to see more pics of my other favorite Scot? Navy (of all people) posted on this thread, but not you!

I don't mind. I know some members, do, though. That's what the 'censored' emote is for. Or you could say... 'fok' or something. That would be very Scottish, right?

I'm ok, PR. I'm ok! Just had a lil sit down, lol!
I think JQ must have a file marked 'Browncoat Blackmail' somewhere.
This thread is getting very long and is very absent of actual pics!
Well now Odds, I apologize for all us terrible spelling Americans. Just force of habit I'm afraid.
Oh and I'll just make sure I run off and watch more of my 'Monty Python' and 'Red Dwarf' DVD's just so I can keep up with the confusing British humor (excuse me, humour) and all.

that's just american propaganda that is.
from dictionary.com:
hu·mour [hyoo-mer]
–noun, verb (used with object), Chiefly British.
1. a comic, absurd, or incongruous quality causing amusement: the humor of a situation.
2. the faculty of perceiving what is amusing or comical: He is completely without humor.
3. an instance of being or attempting to be comical or amusing; something humorous: The humor in his joke eluded the audience.
4. the faculty of expressing the amusing or comical: The author's humor came across better in the book than in the movie.
5. comical writing or talk in general; comical books, skits, plays, etc
so nyer =P xD
and i'll work on photo's PR, might be a while though, i'm too atached to my SLR to go digital until i can afford a digital body for it (ooooh about never) so i'll have to get some developed.
hehe, yeah, you get on an intensive course of them Roxy, also look out for the series 'spaced', as another fine example of the comedic style in question. ^_~

I need to get more Red Dwarf... The DVDs are hellaciously expensive, though. *sigh*
What, exactly, is an SLR? And why can't you have a digital camera and this other camera?
And it's true, this thread has had more chatting than picture posting... But I'm okay with that. Anywhere there is good/interesting/entertaining conversation to be had, there will be a happy Rose.
But right now I should go to sleep. However, I am not tired. Hmmmmmmm, what to do what to do...![]()

I got nuthin'. This post was never supposed to exist. Between FFF having a problem and this here laptop's phantom touch pad functionality, I think this may qualify as a double post, but I hardly feel like dancing: it doesn't have that double-postie satisfaction to it.

SLR is single lense reflex, a camera in which rather then a seperate viewfinder, a prism is used to transfer an exact view of what you'll be photographing into the little eye bit. generally also taken to mean camera's with seperate bodies and lenses, adjustable shutter speed and aperature and lots of other handy gadgets. the reason for not having both is basically one of cost's

i think that's a pretty fair explanation, it's w while since i gave the definition any thought.
i'm sure an enterprising girl like yourself can think of ways to tire yourself out

what? i meant the punchbag! =O

We need to get DTH and Mavs to post here. I don't think they know what a void they've created
or how important this is!!

"Well, here I am...Does that seem right to you?"

Well, digital cameras all, in my expereince, have a little screen so you can see exactly what you're taking a picture of. However, I understand the cost thing completely.
Wish I could go hit the bag (or, um, something) but at this point it's too late to do that. It takes me a good hour to warm up, exhaust myself, and cool down, and then I have more energy than before (mentally if not physically) and other things... I don't have access to other things.
I should just try to sleep. It's past 12:30... Gorrammit...!![]()
