It's difficult to balance, and sometimes...more often than not...cashy money wins. Cause eating and having a roof over your head both rock. You just have to be content in what you do for cashy money. I have a degree in English, have done several diverse things in my life, and am pretty content working in a business office. I think I can speak for msg that she seems to be content teaching - but it wasn't her first choice of a career, not by a long shot.
I would also suggest look into what the up and coming careers are via the Internet. You may find something that will spark a fire.

I didn't mean to sound negative. I guess I thought there would be options with just an English degree. Just trying to look at all my options. But again, I thank everyone.

Has the rumor aspect been verified...or is that just what people what to believe? 'Cause sadly, I know of someone who liked to have "fun" with animals, mainly horses and dogs. It was very disturbing to find out. He stood (marketed a horse for breeding) a fairly popular stallion and to find out his extracurricular activites just made the whole situation nasty. There is photgraphic evidence on-line...but thankfully, I never looked at the pictures...you just cannot wash those types of images out of your mind's eye. Blech...double blech...and triple blech.
