Well done coats, another good day! we keep getting better, maybe 2k not out of teh question.
Good to see Lexx moving up recently as well, I finally picked up a copy that I will be watching tomorrow. one success from the TV Vote site, hopefully some people would have picked up Firefly by now!
Anyone else watched any shows to see what the fuss was all about from this vote?

I watched many shows from the top 40 list, but that was before I discovered richlabonte.net. I will check out Xena one day, exactly as you say, just to see what's the fuss about her. But I will never watch Bonanza or Gunsmoke even if they get ten times the fuss Xena gets. They are just too far from my taste.

I've been thinking about picing up northern exposure. My sister told me it was good and remembered seeing it on the vote site.

Browncoats vs Xenites
in a no holds barred vote-match to determine which show has the most dedicated fandom!
The story so far:
Xena jumped out to an early lead in what many initially considered to be downright sneak-thievery as none of the other various fandoms were even aware that the race had begun. It is beginning to look now however that the Browncoats were simply biding their time to make their come from behind victory (to many a puzzled "Firefly? What the 
is that?") all the more spactacular!
Vote often or the Browncoats may see Serenity Valley re-enacted again.

Out of curioisty, I went and checked out the competition. Turns out that Xena and Bonanza have about the same web presence as we do, even though their fandoms are undoubtably more numerous. I checked some web metrics sites (Quantcast, Alexa, etc) and found that the main Xena and Bonanza fan sites have about the same amount of traffic as fireflyfans.net. True, there are other sites all the fans visit. The scifi.com boards are apparently where a lot of everyone's fans hang out.
For the Xena crowd, the effort to get out the vote goes back a year and a half. I grabbed this from a Xena site, from an old message, just when the Xena crowd was massing at richlabonte.net.

Unfortunately that weapon could easily be put to use by the enemy. Nice intro to the numbers today flattop. Lets break a new record today folks, we were only 60 short yesterday. ONLY 60!!! Anyway, I did a little google search for "fireflyfans.net" b/c I'm in a computer lab right now and don't have the luxury of the site opening up as soon as I open my browser. The bottom result on the front page was a post by yours truely over on the scifi.com forums calling for the browncoats overthere to join the effort. Cool stuff.
