We're definitely at the point where it's been a year now since I had anything else twixt my nethers. Doesn't really do it anymore. As one of my favorite webcomics recently put it, rice wafers when you want chocolate does not exactly satisfy. I miss touch. A lot.
And I've got something better than a novel... Um, it kind of makes things a bit more frustrating but... *ahem* Nevermind.
And I know a very weird and disturbing fact about candles. Apparently in a lot of places when a man gets a sex change opperation, he's told to regularly, um, put something into the new... orrifice in order to keep it open, and is given a candle. Doesn't seem like the best of options to me, but that's what they hand out. Weird.
Names, names, names. I'm very glad I was not named after anyone in my family. Not just because it gets confusing, but because no one really had the nicest name. Many people think I was named after my grandmother, having such an 'old-fashioned' name, but I was not. My parents named me for the symbol of the coming Buddha (which also happens to be a symbol of the sacred feminine and a really pretty flower that suits my personality perfectly; thorns and all) and my middle name came from their guru.
Can you imagine if my name was 'Shirly Anne'???
Yay for Hobbleit! Grats! (oh god I'm talking like a gamer and I don't even game. Why must I love geeks so much?)
That... sounds like a hell of a day Ms G. Gack!
And Odds, you are confusing me. Who are you flipping off? And what vibrating phone? I don't set my phone to vibrate... That tiny lil vibration can't really get the job done anyhow.
Oooooh, I understand the conversation now. Sorry, still not firing on all cylinders. Mucked-up sleep patterns will do that for ya.
In other news, I woke up at the precise moment I should have been walking out the door. It was a bit of a rush to get to work and I feel ungroomed and not quite human, and I've gotten a ridiculous number of calls tonight. I might go mad. Er, some more...
I think the avatar and banner suit you, asorta, but I'm sorry your profile is broken
See what happens when y'all go on a posting frenzy when I'm asleep?
Ranting on yinyangs things will just fill up a whoole lot more space
I've kind of got a ponderable, but I've talked a lot of it out already. So... WTF is up with exes? There, I guess that's all I need to ask.
Need caffeine... more caffeine, rather...

I don't know why that made me laugh so hard. But it did!

Also on the subject of candles, there are these really lovely ones that have oils in them and you can burn them a little bit and give hot waxy oil massages with them. I need to find more of those...

MsG, I concur with my esteemed fellow posters up there... you're a saint. And teenagers suck.

My sister once told me that junior high (or middle school as california usually calls it also)..... "Middle schoolers try to imitate high school society and get it wrong." And she was not wrong.

8th graders with signifigant others... that scares me. The violence towards teacher thing, yeah that happens if the teacher or the student is bad enough or somesuch.... As for the cutting, I've some experience with that myself, and its been findings that the old cliche about "if you tell someone you want to kill yourself, its just a cry for attention: if you were serious about it you'd do it and be done with it".... well that's not wrong either. I've found that its a sort of frustration that usually leads to it, pent up energy or anger, the need for something to change: blood usually helps people get a sense of themselves again, weird as it may be. But yeah, sure its bad....

MsG wins! WOOO!!!!!!

Btw MsG, you finally posted a different picture of yourself (accidently cause you were with wyatt) in the picture thread! You look cool!

Names: I was intentionally named after NOBODY in the family. This was done to annoy both remaining great-grandparents, and to excise me from any potential future nomenclature-related arguements with regards to my naming. It didn't help, though, that about seventeen different families in a five kilometer area came up with the exact same name that year...

Hey guys, just popping in to say hi before I have to go make my head explode at school.
Yep, I wasn't named after anyone either, which is cool I guess because my family all has pretty generic names...
See you all later!

morning bodies, hope you all are having good days/nights/other ^^

Names is an odd one, depending on who i believe, i was either named after an LOTR character, or the dog next door. i know, it's a tough call.

Morning everyone. Hope everybody is feeling rested and ready to take on the world.

Names-My parents intentionally named me so that I wouldn't have a common family name. Then they started doing geneology and discover that until the past couple generations it was one of the most common names on both sides of the family.
