Hi, I am a lurker who has finally decided to come out into the light.

I am hoping to go to the Firefly Fusion show in May. Having never been to one of these things, what should I expect?

Welcome Wren,

You should expect to be the envy of all us poor sods who won't be there with you! Seriously expect to have lots of fun thru out the day and way into the night. Have a great time and tell us all about it when you get back.

i'm thinking of going too!!! never been to one but the guest list is amazing.i have a friend who attends alot of cons, she tells me the ticket will allow to you to have one personal item signed by everyone there, but you have to pay for photo's (i think) there should be talks, discos where you get to mingle and meet the stars and stalls selling various related items. but most of all the guys from firefly will be there. hope i was some help...by the way how far from blackpool are you? out of intrest.

Blackpool...sounds like a Brittish place.

This thing isn't in England, is it? 'Cause I can drive to most anywhere on the east coast - hell, if I could see Firefly castmembers, I'd head to the friggin' Midwest. But dammit, I can't drive to England.

Thanks to everyone who left a response. I paid for the tickets this morning and am now trying to sort out a place to stay. Brightens my day everytime I think about it!

I am currently living in Lincolnshire, so it will be about a three hour drive. (Oh what fun with two small children)

In response to Steve580 - yes its in the UK. You could always sell your car and get a plane ticket.

Trouble with the righteous is....their always right!
