It's a balmy 19°F in beautiful, fog-cloaked Loveland right now. And it's supposed to get above freezing again! Sure hope the sun can make it through all the cloud and fog and stuff. It is what would very correctly be referred to as 'a gray day'.

Back when I only had a motorcycle for getting around I had a temperature system that was initially based on how many pounds of gear I had to strap on to survive the freakin' ride to work.
The poundage system maxed out at 35 pounds, then later I moved a few miles farther north (Greeneville, SC). That's a bit higher and just a few important degrees colder than here, so I had to add to the system. After the poundage maxed out I measured how bad the nosebleed was from my frozen sinuses.
Then I started riding the bus a lot more, too.
