actually SWG that was is a perfect firefly mmorpg model. it's got a solid ground and space engines. but none of those games are very good as a representation of firefly/serenity 'verse. it's too unique and has to be done from scratch as a stand alon' game!

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one, so I joined starfleet and was stationed at the SGC to fight the covenant, whos gate happens to be down, and through which I must cast the ring from whence it came. It was our last best hope for peace but it failed so millions of voices cried out and were suddenly silent but there was no spoon and also no fate but what we make for ourselves.

i think an mmo might not be a good idea, but maybe a morpg might work like adventure quest, but firefly.

I agree... personally as not such a big fan of MMO's, I think a single player RPG would be great.

Also, if you know what you were doing, you could base the ground combat on the NWN2 toolset/game and make your own space combat... or borrow one from Freespace2 or Freelancer.

Not sure... Why not take on some hardcore googl-ing... There is a firefly/serenity mod for HL2... haven't heard much from it for a while so it might have gone under... But worth keeping an eye out for
