PR- hmm who says they have to stay dull?? They just said they have to be dull to enter the country not remain there ( don't you just love loopholes)But I know what you mean. Every few years I get a low grade urge to move to England and they'd let me, but I think I'd miss my family.

Jonny- LOL That was great! I've never actually chopped wood before, but now I want to

Mav- have a lovely weekend HUGS

NV- I know Boston should really just notice they've pretty much made themselves a laughingstock and hush up before the so panicky and dumb they're almost as bad as Boston jokes start flying.

OK will this day never end. I swear I see the hands of the clock ticking backward.

Imagine, getting all corsetted up and wielding a battle-ready war-axe to hew and fell trees, sweat glistening on your arms and bre...er, uh. sorry...upper lip. Whipping the oxen in their yokes (oh, please, ma'am, harder...damn! did it again), living the life of a pioneer woman. Pumping out water and children with equal aplomb. I'm tellin' ya, girl, if you're gonna teach somethin', teach Mr.G how to smoke a pipe, play a fiddle and work a sawmill. THAT'S where babies come from. PUSF brought on by hard physical labor. You guys have too much thinking going on in your jobs. Sweat all day, sweat all night. It's like fertilizer!

EDIT: Did anyone else just feel the breeze of a whirling DesktopHippie whip by?

Yeesh. Everyones ducking out for the weekend and I'm stuck until at least six.

JQ- How could you do that. One step above Wonder Woman on the list of childhood crushes had to be Caroline Ingalls.

*rubs chin thoughtfully*
No matter how hard I try, NV, I'm just never going to get a good picture of you...

Caroline? Really?? I mean she was pretty and all, but a crush...Huh.

Okay, let me approach this another way. So who would have been your top five? (or are or are your top five; or both)

I don't know that I can narrow the childhood thing down to five. Seems like every year there were another five. So for me I think I will try for all-time, but in chronological order by fictional/non-fictional. I love setting parameters I immediately ignore.

Fiction:
Laura Petrie
Cat Woman (Julie Newmarr is the only one ever; I will however accept Michelle Pfeiffer or Halle Berry in any other role.)
The Black Widow (Marvel Comics)
Honey West/Modesty Blaise (Not much difference here, is there? Kind of like Matt Helm and Derek Flint...)
Electra (Marvel Comics: not the movies)
The Women of Sin City
Who am I missing...?

Most of the Hollywood Golden Era Bombshells
Ann-Margret
Raquel Welch
Kate Jackson/Stephanie Zimbalist
Olivia Newton-John
Nastassja Kinski
Ashley Judd
I know I'm missing someone...
