HOLY CRAP!!!! XENA BROKE 1K!!!! Something is up....y'all think maybe they were doing what we planned on? Pulled ahead to a comfortable lead and then as soon as they felt threatened turned on the voting juggernaught again??? Hopefully this is just a one day thing, otherwise we're gonna have to start pulling in new voters.

That would imply an impressive level of preplanned organization. Especially as FlyVote has noted there're no big flags going up on their boards. Email chain network perhaps?

On the boards that _I_ could find. Most boards were dead (who ordered the dead guy?) or dead-ish.

Anybody tuned in to an active board that talks about Xena? Or a google group? Or a private list server?

Readin' deep into the google group shows that Xena was the first show to reach 1k votes per day, so it would seem you're right. Slowed down when they got a comfortable lead and now that folk are creepin' up behind 'em...

Well however they're doing it, looks like we have some real competition now, not just some bonanza fans mouthing off at how our show doesn't deserve to be on there b/c they can feel our breath on their necks.

Today's numbers could be very interesting...hopefully they'll plateau or go down. Either way, I saw we see there raise and up them. Time to break 1300.

BTW, I like how BSG, Firefly, and Lexx are right in a row.

Hi all,

Just wanted to remind everyone in case you'd forgot or just plain didn't know that today we're sending letters to the president of the scifi channel or the head of programming requesting that Firefly be used as a summer replacement series with each episode hosted by a different cast member. It would be a limited cost for them and could serve as a way to see just how many browncoats would tune in if the series were revived for new episodes. There is a thread under the Guerilla marketing portion of the website and another on scifi.com boards linked here:

If you go to the eighth page there is a real shiny form letter and enevelope you can dl. Just sign the letter, change the return and address and print away.
