Comments getting eaten...?

I received notification that I'd gotten some comments on some images I posted on BSR but when going there, the comments were missing. Does a rating only count as a comment (with notification), reason why I only found two comments when I got 4 notifications? Anyone care to shed light on this for me? Thanks.

Yes, a rating counts as a comment. Conversely, a comment does not count as a notification if there's no rating.

Thanks. That's really weird, to get notification of a rating, since you don't even know what the rating was and the notification speaks in fact of someone leaving a comment... *shrug*
