I personally have never attended them, as they tend to go all day and I don't want to be shut up in a room writing for 8 hours straight.
However, it might be a good option if you're serious about your writing and would like to (hopefully) get published. Having professional writers critique your work could only be beneficial.

I have no idea if I posted in here yet....
But yes, I will be going. This time, without a wife (those of you that know will get a smile out of that one )
I'll be marching proudly with the rest of the members of the 76th.
I will also be carousing with the other gods that will be making a show there one night.
Beyond that, I will be enjoying every possible moment in the company of my Browncoat family!

Enjoy.What's this about "carousing with gods?"...cause, just FYI, Fireflygal and I and my husband are part of a "Greek Gods" group that sometimes shows up at D*C (time allowing! There's only so many costumes you can do in 4 days, you know!) You piqued my curiosity....
