I'd like a Mal and/or Nathan banner for Valentine's Day. I have no skills what so ever so this may inspire someone.
Also, PD Charles, can I use the NC Browncoats banner? I really like it.

Grew up in ILM but now I'm up the coast in Washington, about 20 miles east of Greenville.

Ni Hao , N*C* !
Roun' here , as I'm sure you know , we call that ' Little Washington ' .
It'll be good to eventually get some folk onboard for some shindiggery . Would be nice to get a ' job ' together , if you happen to have a decent ' criminal ' mind...
How far is it for you to I*L*M , and to the R*D*U areas , respectively ?

It's exactly 2 hours from my house to Crabtree Mall in Raleigh now that the bypasses are complete in Wilson and Knightdale and assuming Saturday traffic on I-440.
And now that the new leg of I-540 is open Brier Creek should be about 2 and a half hours. Can't wait to try it. My brother lives right off I-540 so now I can avoid the Beltline when I go to see him.
I am planning to go to the Can't Stop the Serenity screening in June in Raleigh even if I miss work the next day.
Wilmington is a little further. Drove to Jacksonville last weekend. The new J'ville bypass should take a bit of time off but the construction between J'ville and New Bern actually added time. You can't pass anyone on the two lanes open. It'll be a mess for a year or two more.
My daughter and I are trying our hardest to convert people out here. Maybe soon we'll hit critical mass (with help from the "Coats in Greenville) and can form a Browncoat group of our own.

Hey, can someone tell me what I*L*M stands for.....Im sorry for my lack of understanding on its meaning, how ever I am British and if it an American State or Town, then I'm not goin to recognise it via its initials.
(Im supposed to be making a I*L*M Banner for OUT2THEBLACK)

Sorry, ILM is the airport code for Wilmington, NC. It's on the southern coast of North Carolina. During it's hisory it was famed for it's port and was one of the last Confederate ports to be closed by the Union army during the American Civil War.
Boats from Europe or the Caribbean with supplies or anything that would sell for a high price would try to sneak past a blockade of Union Navy ships. They were low in the water to avoid detection and came in at night so many of them ended up on the bottom of the sea near Wilmington. Maybe that's why I identify with Firefly so much. A shared history of smuggling. LOL
When I grew up there in the late 60's, 70's and early 80's it was a fairly large town but a bit isolated because of it's location.
Now, because of Interstate 40 and the general boom in waterfront property in the US it has really grown. There are several nice beaches close to Wilmingon and the weather is nice most of the year.
It's home to the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, which is a fairly large university. Also, there is an independent film studio located there so you may have seen parts of the area on film. The popular TV series DAWSON'S CREEK was filmed there.
You may also of one of our most famous former residents. The basketball star Michael Jordan grew up in Wilmington.
I hope that helps.
Also, thanks a bunch for the Mal-Valentine banner. I really like it.
