Good morning to everyone. I'm actually grabbing A cup of coffee. Didn't sleep too well last night and must endure. But it sure makes it easier with y'all around.

So here's the lowdown on some recent news. I did meet a nice girl a few weeks back but failed to mention her because she was in a longtime relationship. WAS. My buddy John at Outsiders mentions to yours truly the other day that she'd broken up with the boyfriend a week or two ago and needed to be around a good guy. I'm thinkin' John considers me to be that good guy.

She's working on her teaching certificate, works with the same type of kids I do in the county system, and loves paintball (I woulda said ballin' but I know the way my mind works and can't put it beneath y'all to think the same).
Moving ahead, she'll be in the field this weekend and I'm considering askin' if she wants to hang out some evening.

Thought y'all would like to know.

I'm so happy for you, NV. You deserve to find someone to be with, and any woman in your immediate vicinity is a fool if she doesn't see how awesome you are.

I vote we refer to the new woman as "NG" for Nice Girl. I like the way it goes with "NV."

I think a relaxed night playing pool, bowling, etc would be perfect. Not stressful like dinner and a movie...but just right.

(((HUG)))

I guess I need to delete that cinder block from my photobucket, huh? Well, I'm glad to!

hey NVG, Colonel.

NVG - I say go for it, it sounds like you two might hit it off nicely, at least having some things in common to talk about is a good start in my eyes.

In the beginning the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and is widely considered as a bad move.

Wow, who was that blurred man?

MSG-I can't sleep with a light on. Its a Calvin and Hobbes quote. Often there is stuff in those comics that just speaks to me for some reason.

Sounds hopeful NV

I think nighttime is dark so you can imagine your fears with less distraction.

I tried to drink green tea. Then I discovered white tea and stopped
How am I? That's an interesting question. In many ways I'm good and in many (not unrelated) ways I'm not. Lemme 'splain:
I read a book last week about parasites and how nasty and, worse, how common they were. I have been taking very gross herb tinctures to kill any I have. They have been dying and putting off toxins. I feel much lighter, more more energetic, and very very sore, achy, and not really 'all there'. Example: I got off work, drove home, realized I had left all of my foodstuffs and drinkage in the breakroom fridge, had to drive back and nearly ran out of gas. Also my typing has been crap lately and I keep having to go back to make sure everything is right. Twice.
Also have been slightly discouraged about my future, but working on it! Stuff to look into and things and such

Where'd you get such a great picture of me, MsG?
(I wish my hair were really that long, but in reality I've got more curve, so it evens out.)

Whitefall, my dearest sweetest Whitefall, I give you hugs

NVG, who I've not seen in forever, I concur with Mavs

*edit because I'm taking so gorramn long to type anything* Mircea, I recognized the quote right away. I have the complete collection and am currently working on putting every strip into a photobucet account so I may post them. They might shut me down, but I want to post Calvin sometimes, so I'm willing to risk it (and I do own every strip, and so does my dad, which is where I read them first. Not like I'm stealng them...)

Your not going all germaphobic on us are you?

And if you hate the taste of coffee, then don't drink Starbucks. Or if you have it where you live, Scooters. Scooters coffee is literally on every street corner here in Omaha. Worst coffee house coffee, ever. Starbucks does have good iced frappuccino though. Put enough sugar into anything and it will taste good I guess. If you have to go to a chain coffee house I would suggest Caribou. Otherwise stick to small local brew houses. And if you make it at home, put more coffee into the filter. It will actually make it less bitter. I haven't mastered making coffee at home yet so I usually buy mine and drink it at the spur of the moment. Maybe it is my $12 Westinghouse coffee maker.

Parasites aren't technically germs so... no!
They are horrible things and some (many) of them are microscopic and they are fought by the immune system and they can cause health problems, but they aren't germs. They're nastier than germs, almost. I hate them. I especially hate that their death is toxic so I can't even painlessly kill them. But once I found out why my digestion had been so sensitive, I knew I had to make them die!

I should really go to bed...

My occassional popping into one of these to say hi.

Hi from your caffeine-based-lifeform of a coffee addicted internet friend. Work overnights at one radio station, take classes during the day and work at the college station every afternoon and you too will learn to drink coffee for the rest of your life. Black. With lots of sugar when available. The hummingbird diet.....

Now back to my boring work that I'm still doing for Florida while trying not to check my wife's bead auctions on ebay every 5 minutes to see if there are any bids yet.
