No, she made me this knit hat all by herself. Okay it's not orange and it doesn't have pom pom on top, but it's really 'cunning'. This is the hat that tells the world that I'm not afraid of anything.

Well it's nice and warm. It's hand made and looks it. It has personality, which means that if you took a survey, of those people who expressed a opinion, half would say it's cute and half would say it's the sort of thing only a dork would wear. It will take weeks to train it to fit my head properly. To me it's a singular unique artifact, both functional and a work of art that was made with love by mom. All that put together says 'cunning hat.'

I think that was so sweet of your mom!! Homemade stuff is, in my opinion anyway, far superior than just picking something out in the store.(By the way, you didn't go and have a birthday and not tell us, did you? Aren't you a scorpio like the majority of us?)
People have started to notice that I'm always knitting this crazy orange hats and I've had a few people ask me if I'd make them a hat, "Just in different colours?". I said sure! One of the kids in my band wants one, he just hasn't picked out the yarn yet and settled on a specific style (he doesn't want the ear flaps.)

You have to remember I live in SC, so anything orange is seen as Clemson, and some people are USC fans instead. It's like the redneck version of gang colours.
