lol, not far off, actually! Tribal Metal is basically a thrash metal sound (like Metallica or Anthrax), set to native South American rythems (most tirbal bands are from Brazil and Columbia). The drumming tends to be not very cymbal-based, and VERY percussive. Soulfly once toured with 20 Brazilian drummers. Most bands use in that genre also use tribal and native instruments as well as guitar/bass/drums - accoustic guitars, bongos, flutes etc. But the main characteristic of Tribal Metal is the rythem of the drumming and guitar riffs: check out the songs 'Babylon' and 'Fuel The Hate' here: www.myspace.com/soulfly for a typical Tribal Metal sound. I love it, myself!

Don't Pick It Up - The Offspring

The best song ever written which involves lyrics about eating dog poo thinking it's a candy bar...

Hehe, can always rely on The Offspring for a little slice of humour, childish as it may be (which as far as I'm concerned is the best kind of humour)!

Cyberwaste - Fear Factory

I love the kick drumming in this song. Proves that Raymond Herrera is one of the greatest drummers around. Well, greatest Mexican drummer in an Industrial Metal band, anyhow...

EDIT: Awesome song there, Odds!
