you are correct, but i there petition os to let other studios try to get firefly/serenity for their tv stations. serenity is not owned by fox, it is universal/nbc/sci-fi channel. so this aimed at the right exec, might allow them to the the ball rolling and see about a serentiy tv show. which i am all in favor for. i dont need a second season of firefly. i want to move forward and have serentiy the tv show, but someone need to let the execs know that we want this. i dont think enough of us showed up for the movie and it bombed, or alot of us found serentiy through the movie. i just think we need to the other execs know about us.

Im in New Zealand and only found out about Firefly last year after hiring Serenity.
Got the dvd boxed set for xmas.
Even my girlfriend was hooked and she never watches sci-fi!!
Found this site because we wanted more.

Definitely signing this one! Granted, online petitions do nothing... but maybe if we get enough signatures, SOMEBODY will notice, and that big damn snowball rollin' down the hill will get a little bit bigger.

I really want to sign this , and I will , but you should get a good proofreader to go over it and give it a bit more polish . Contains a few spelling , punctuation , and grammatical errors .

We're a " fine bunch of Reubens ", but we don't necessarily want to look like we just got off a
" crap boat " ...

A smart and sophiscated viewership , of impeccable taste , is really how we want to present ourselves .

We should gather ( non-personal ) demographic information about the signers , so we can show a good cross-section to the decision-makers .

Probably should have the signers ' commit ' to acquiring the premium service that picks up new Sereni-Verse content .

My vote is still with HBO , but Showtime might also be able to get it done . Or NBC , if they want to be really smart and cutting-edge...It would almost be penance for cancelling the original Star Trek...
