The only costume I'm authorizing the 76th patch to be put on is the soldier costume we've agreed on. If someone wants to put one on a bag or something, I'm fine with that, even if they want to put it on a coat or something, fine. But no costume of characters in or out of the Firefly universe other than the soldier uniform will bear the 76th patch. Sorry.

Stinkingrose, I do love my ice cream and I'm always looking for new places where I can clog my arteries.I imagine you're not referring to Coldstone's on Oyster Point,'cause that's only been around for a couple of years.I must say my favorite place is Monty's Penguin down on Warwick. It's not strictly an ice cream place but their shakes are some of the best.Especially the strawberry shakes, they make 'em with strawberry jam,YUM!!!
If you think of the name of this place please do let me know!

Morning, 76th!
XO, thank you for answering the individual that posed the patch question...I had completely overlooked that.

I will be creating a new thread today, assuming the day stays relatively quiet. Time to get some updated info out there.

Thank you to those that kept bumping!

Now it's time for coffee....

Ok, new cut-down, slimmer thread:

The place Rose is thinking of is gone, gone, gone. Was on Warwick near Main Street. Can't recall the name, though.

The Coldstone's on Oyster Point was the first I'd ever heard of, didn't know they were a chain until I stopped by. Took a look around and walked back out again. The cutesy ice cream flavor names put me right off. That plus the slick graphics and decor. It was pretty much the antithesis of a Mom and Pop ice cream homemade on premises place, which was what I'd been hoping for.
